THE "RECYCLADE"

45mn - France 2 - 2019

When the founder of Emmaüs, Abbé Pierre, died in 2007, some companions and friends of Emmaüs from Savoie had a crazy idea: cycling from the Alpes to the Porte de Versailles in Paris, where the Emmaüs Salon, Europe's biggest flea market, is held every year. Since then, the "Recyclade" tradition has continued. 650 kilometres in 6 days. As we follow this wonderful human adventure through superb French countryside landscapes, we retrace the journey of the man that all the Emmaüs communities still call "the father": the unforgettable Abbé Pierre.
